Hello everyone! My name is Baowen Liu, and you can also call me Isla. I am currently a third-year Psychology student at UVic. I come from Chongqing, China, which is located in the southwest of the country—and yes, hot pot comes from my hometown!

I have been in Canada for six years now, and I truly love it here. I especially enjoy traveling, and I have a strong love for the ocean, which is one of the reasons why I chose UVic. Besides that, I enjoy posting beautiful travel photos on my social media, and I think that’s also why I decided to take this course.

I will be sharing some of my photos here, and I’m really looking forward to a new journey this semester with the professor and my classmates!
